In-Kind Donations
ALIVE often accepts in-kind donations that benefit our clients.

Unfortunately, because of limited office space, ALIVE is often unable to accommodate in-kind donations of clothing or furniture. However, there are some agencies that ALIVE regularly refers clients to if they are in need of these items. If you have donations of clothes or furniture, you may wish to consider making a donation to one of these agencies.
Cell Phones
ALIVE is also part of a national cell phone collection program called "Shelter Alliance." This program allows ALIVE to raise funds by collecting used cell phones. When phones are donated to ALIVE, we ship them to Shelter Alliance with a pre-paid shipping label and receive reimbursement for each phone we send.
Shelter Alliance helps refurbish phones and circulate them back to the community for use by victims of domestic violence who are in need of a secure phone line. If a phone is too old or can not otherwise be refurbished, Shelter Alliance makes sure the phone is recycled in an environmentally responsible way.
By donating phones through this project, you will help ALIVE provide an additional means of safety for victims of domestic violence as well as help provide a revenue source for ALIVE's programs and services.
