Gifts to ALIVE are tax deductible. In addition to Federal and State tax deductions, your gift of $100 or more will qualify for Missouri Domestic Violence Shelter Tax Credits.
If you donate, for example, $1,000 and are in the 28% Federal tax bracket and the 5% Missouri tax bracket, the gift would be eligible for the following:
- $280 in Federal tax benefit
- $50 in Missouri tax benefit
Total out-of-pocket expenses is just $170!!!
